I teach beginner AcroYoga workshops with my partner Dan. Acro has been instrumental in our relationship – not only is it how we met, but it’s helped us develop communication skills and trust. We’re both passionate about sharing it – we get so much happiness from seeing someone’s smile the first time they fly.
In workshops we work in teams of three, with a base (on the ground) and flyer (in the air) and spotter (for safety). The video below shows a beginner sequence that we often share at our workshops. Each move is broken down and taught individually, then students are supported to move through the sequence.
